Our recreational kayaks are simple to operate and safe for everyone. They can be paddled on Lady Bird Lake with a few minutes of instruction, and are fast and very stable.

Texas Rowing Center has Austin’s largest fleet of kayaks - you have your choice of sit-on-top or sit-inside kayaks.

Kayak rentals are available all day, every day - no reservations are necessary. Just bring your voucher and photo ID to the Boathouse to redeem your rental. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
